Fayyaz Chohan claims terrorists hired to assassinate PTI Chairman Imran Khan. Chohan claims “Cochi”, a terrorist in Afghanistan, has been assigned with assassinating Khan.

According to PTI leader Fayyaz Chohan, "certain individuals" have charged a terrorist with assassinating PTI Chairman Imran Khan, who was ousted from the prime minister's position in April.

In a tweet on Saturday, the former provincial minister stated, "I have facts that certain individuals have instructed a terrorist called Kochi in Afghanistan to murder PTI Chairman Imran Khan."

In response to rumors of threats against Khan, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif authorized the Interior Ministry last month to provide him with 24-hour protection at his house in Islamabad and at political rallies.

Khan declared a threat to his life at a jalsa last month, after which he made a video of the personalities behind the "plot" against his government, which will be released if anything happened to him.

In his presentation to a jalsa in Sialkot, the former prime minister stated that a "plot" was being devised to assassinate him and that, despite knowing about it before, he now had enough proof to substantiate it.

In light of the purported plot to assassinate him, the PTI chairman stated that he had shot a tape and put it in a "safe spot" in which he listed each and every figure involved in the "conspiracy" to depose his administration.

Prior to his dismissal in April, Fawad Chaudhry, then-information minister, claimed that security services had revealed an "assassination plot" against Khan.
